Regional hikes, city tours, and spontaneous outdoor moments defined AEGEE-Praha’s Summer University “Czechdom Come” from 3 to 12 July 2026. 15 participants enjoyed a memorable 10 days exploring Prague and surrounding historical landmarks.

GT: What was your Summer University about?
AEGEE-Praha: Our SU was about the famous Czech PC game Kingdom Come, which takes place in various beautiful places, where we wanted to take our participants and prepare some cool activities, games and events for them.

Please name a few progamme highlights.
It is hard to choose just a few, but let’s start with European Night, which took place in a nice venue in the center of Prague and included everything that a proper European Night should; another highlight would be the trips to the Pilsen brewery and Kutná Hora city center and Ossuary, which we enjoyed a lot. Last but not least, let’s add hikes in Rovensko – to the lookout tower as well as to the castle Trosky, where we had the final “battle” and photoshoot game.

How many participants and organisers were at the SU?
Eventually it was 15 participants and 13 organizers in total.

What were the funniest or most exciting moments?
The funniest moments were those where it was all of us having those spontaneous moments, like chilling together in nature or park, doing sports, or admiring amazing architecture in those cities that we visited.

How important was the gossip box?
We tried to read it almost every day and it was hilarious when even people who joined just for a few days laughed and liked the gossips. There were cute gossips, juicy gossips, and of course funny gossips.

How was your group of participants?
They got to know each other very well and some of them might come for another event or maybe we will meet them at the Agora!

How would you evaluate the SU overall on a scale from 0 (very bad) to 10 (excellent)?
10, because it was an amazing experience and we got positive feedback from our participants as well!

Which impact did the event have on your antenna?
We managed to go on with our tradition of creating European events, but every year with a different topic. It’s very demanding, but hopefully interesting and appealing for our participants as well!

Will you organise an SU next year again?
Yes, we would like to follow the tradition, but this time maybe make it a little bit more cosy and family-like, for less participants, so that everone gets to know each other better and the community is created even faster and easier.

Anything else you’d like to share about your SU?
We are happy that our participants enjoyed this year’s SU and we are hoping that we will see each other somewhere in Europe again!
